Cllr Edwards due to County Borough Status
The minutes of the Meeting on 9th March 2017 of the Blaengwrach Community Council were accepted as a true record, proposed by Cllr Edwards, seconded by Cllr Richards.
038/17 Matters Arising
027/17 Application for funding for stage curtains – Cllr Edwards to check status of application.
027/17 Traffic survey – Additional barriers and yellow line will be installed outside school on Heol Wenallt. NPTCBC indicated that a one way traffic system is not practical, the access gates to Blaengwrach Primary School will be moved to increase safety on School Street.
033/17 The cost of replacing the insulation and the removal of the old insulation will be met by the company who carried out the work.
028/17 The appeal for Planning application P2016/0966 has been declined and decided in favour of NPTCBC planning Committee.

Cwmgwrach Moving Forward – The projector has be repositioned and the cost met by the contractors.
Letter received from resident – issues raised, road surface at Brynberllan Road, water on Heol Wenallt and silt on Unity Mine Road junction. NPCBC issues, Cllr Edwards will reply in her County Borough Council status.
043/17 Welfare Hall ceiling/Improvements to Welfare Park
Cllrs agreed that the insulation in the Welfare Hall will be replace with new and existing insulation will be removed by the original contractor who agreed to do the work at no extra cost to Blaengwrach Community Council.
Cllrs agreed to meet with contractors to discuss the replacement of the fencing at The Welfare Park.

Email re license to show films at The Welfare Hall – email forwarded from NPTCBC Trading Standards – no license required for number that will attend.
Cllrs discussed the need to replace the water tanks at The Welfare Hall. Action: DR to speak to contractors and collate quotes.
