The above meeting was scheduled to take place in the Welfare Hall, Heol Y Felin, Cwmgwrach, Neath SA11 5TB at 6.30 p.m. on Thursday 17th February 2022. However, as ONLY TWO Councillors were present (Councillor Carolyn Edwards – Chair of the Council & Councillor Andrew Hippsley), the meeting COULD NOT TAKE PLACE (The Council Standing Orders state that there MUST be three (3) Councillors present before any “business” can be discussed and transacted).
Apologies had been received from Councillor Philippa Richards; Councillor Menna Mortimore; Councillor Amanda Doherty; Councillor Julia Hippsley & Councillor Rhian Williams. NO APOLOGIES HAD BEEN RECEIVED FRO EITHER Councillor Helen Williams or Councillor Bethan Parry.
PLEASE NOTE: ANY ITEMS ON THE AGENDA FOR THIS MEETING WILL BE CARRIED FORWARD TO THE AGENDA OF THE NEXT MEETING (Scheduled for 17th March 2022).
A fifteen minute “period of grace” was given to allow the Councillors who had NOT given their apologies to arrive but as neither did, the meeting was closed at 6.45 p.m.
