It is with regret that the Blaengwrach Community Council have to announce that due to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Pandemic, it has NOT been possible to get Santa`s Sleigh to travel through the village this year. Also, for the same reason, there will be NO Christmas Celebrations in the Welfare Hall this year. It is with regret that the Blaengwrach Community Council announce that the 2020 Service of Remembrance WILL NOT take place this year. The decision has been made after consultation with the local Royal British Legion and local Church Ministers. This is due to the on-going Coronavirus/Covid-19 Pandemic an the fact that the "memorial" in Cwmgwrach is indoors (in the Welfare Hall).
