The meeting was held at 6pm on Thursday 27th June 2019 in the Welfare Hall, Heol Y Felin, Cwmgwrach: (See Minute 018/19 from 13th June 2019):

ALSO PRESENT: Clive Baker (Clerk & RFO);
There were no members of the public present.
022/19 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE:
Apologies had been received from Councillors Amanda Doherty (holidays); Chris Kelly (work commitments); Bethan Parry (work commitments) & Julia Hippsley (work commitments).
023/19 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST(S):
Councillor Carolyn Edwards declared her interest as a County Councillor of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
024/19 PRESENTATION & AGREEMENT OF INTERNAL AUDITOR`S REPORT & ANNUAL RETURN for the YEAR ENDING 31st March 2019:
The Clerk/RFO presented the above to the Council (the figures etc. could not be presented in the June 2019 monthly meeting as the Internal Auditors Report was not received until 21st June 2019) and the report included the ten point report received from H R Harris & Partners (Internal Auditors for the Council). The points made by H R Harris & Partners were by the Council and any actions suggested will be acted upon to be put in place by the end of the 2019-2020 Financial Year.
The figures on the Annual Return were noted and the Council examined the Explanation of Variances for each section of the return.
After agreement from the Council, the return was signed by the RFO & Chair and will now be sent to BDO, LLP (External Auditors).
When the report of the External auditors is received it will e discussed at the next available monthly meeting.
There were no other scheduled items to be discussed at this meeting and the meeting closed at 6.25pm.
