BLAENGWRACH COMMUNITY COUNCIL – LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 – NOTICE OF VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF COMMUNITY COUNCILLOR
RESOLVED: In accordance with Section 86 of the Local Government Act 1972 and due to his failure to attend meetings of the Council for six consecutive months, Councillor Chris Kelly has ceased to be a member of the Blaengwrach Community Council and that a vacancy therefore exists in the office of Community Councillor.
If, within fourteen (14) days after the date of this notice, a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made IN WRITING to:

Chief Executive`s Directorate,
Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council,
Civic Centre,
Port Talbot SA13 1PJ
by TEN (10) electors for the Blaengwrach Ward an election will be held to fill the vacancy; otherwise the vacancy will be filled by the Council.
