The Welfare Park – Coronavirus/Covid-19 Guidelines

Published: 3rd June 2020

Following Senydd Cymru Guidelines and discussions with the Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and other Town and Community Councils in the borough, The Blaengwrach Community Council have decided to reopen certain areas of the Welfare Park with effect from Thursday 4th June 2020.

The present guidelines state that Children`s Play Areas, Multiuse Games Areas (MUGAs) and enclosed sports areas ARE TO REMAIN CLOSED.Therefore, the children`s playground, MUGA & 3G Pitch will remain closed and locked until further notice.

The Council request and remind all who use the Welfare Park of the existing “Social Distancing Guidelines” (e.g. remaining 2 (two) metres apart).

The Council would be grateful if you will also remember the guidelines if you need to approach/need to speak to Council staff.

The Council thank you all for adhering to the Covid-19 Guidelines.

C Baker – Clerk to Blaengwrach Community Council
